We all love a good ‘crazy customer email’. Sometimes they are colourful and entertaining. Sometimes they’re just downright bonkers. So here, to brighten up your Wednesday, I present three crackers from my collection. The first one comes courtesy of a colleague working in a fashion company; the other two are from the vaults of my own company.
My colleague writes:
We had a great one recently. We have a dress where the zip is sewn on the outside, just a quirky style decision. She called when she received the dress because she couldn’t believe it was like that, I said sorry she was disappointed and to send it back for a full refund. She then emailed to say that she would be getting it altered and would be sending the bill to us as she felt sure we would like to ‘make amends’. Here’s the testimonial she left on our feedback system:
The item in itself is beautiful however the designers made the weird decision to place the zip on the outside of the garment which is unexpected to say the least even if it was illustrated on the web site. It’s not the sort of thing one looks for and it’s far too wacky for my part of the country so I had to get it altered at my own expense. The item should have had some kind of warning sign in the web site page.
And here are mine:
Dear Sir/Madame. I use to get Moroccan WHITE Anchovies in a white plastic round dish with lid. I paid around £6.00 to £7.00 for a large white round container which had at least 100 fish inside. Plain only and NO olives in East London Market. The guy kicked the bucket and now I don’t see his stall anymore. I haven’t had these Gorgeous anchovies things for at least two years and I am going crazy to taste them again. We use to have lots of seafood stalls in the market with Winkles,Cockles and Prawns washed down with a cold Pint of real Best Bitter. Foreigners have moved in selling sarees and other rubbish,and I can’t get my Anchovies and Shellfish. I love Fresh Shellfish big time! Where can I buy these White Anchovies in brine.
If I order today, when will it come? I’m not at home very often, but it could be left in the garage as long as local cats and dogs can’t get at it- there are no doors on the garage.
